Zzetta ‘Soul Fired Pizza’ opens in Rathbone Market tomorrow

HALAL STATUS Halal options • Prepped separately • All pizzas cooked in one oven

A new “artisan pizza restaurant” will be enjoying its grand opening tomorrow in Rathbone Market with a free slice for all those who confirm their arrival via email.

Zzetta will be aiming “to provide excellent food and an atmosphere reflecting the history of Rathbone Market and the surrounding area” and will be opening at 11am and closing at 11pm.

While there’s “Halal, vegan and gluten-free options” available, FtL can also confirm: “Everything [Halal] would be prepared separately, but baked in one oven.”

The 55-seater venue has been designed in such a way as to provide a “fresh, casual street feeling [that’s] warm and inviting”.

Owner Rob Dewan, who has experience in graphic design, marketing and running shipping business in London, says that “Zzetta has a menu that goes far beyond your typical pizzeria.”

He said: “We worked very closely with experienced chefs to develop our unique concept that emphasizes locally sourced products.”

Rob added: “Our mission is to be the leading highest quality pizzeria brand in London. We have affordable prices which allow us to compete against the leading casual modern pizzerias. Our menu is short allowing for both quality and speed of service. It’s innovation is driven by our passion for artisan but street casual pizza made with the finest quality ingredients, shaped by the knowledge of our expert friend, acclaimed chef Richard Regalado. Richard has helped us to introduce a new range of sourdough pizzas as well as unearthing authentic ways of adding depth to all of our dishes.”
