Slim Chickens brings its American menu to Chelmsford

International American brand Slim Chickens has arrived in Essex’s Chelmsford.

Located on the High Street, this is their 73rd branch in the UK with a significant opening scheduled for July 4th in Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3.

Owned by Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), Slim Chickens have previously confirmed with FtLion that Halal chicken is served across all UK branches.

With the cheese and bacon sandwich part of the menu, and the gravy being non-Halal, they’ve told FtLion: “All our chicken is Halal across all our UK sites. We have the same menu as well, some are reduced in certain locations.”

Having started 17 years ago in Arkansas, the US-hatched chicken brand serves “authentic Southern flavours including the brand’s most iconic dishes”, with cooked-to-order chicken tenders, wings, 17 different house sauces to try, among other items.
