The Apprentice star opens six Bombay Pizza sites in 6 weeks
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalA finalist on the hit BBC TV series The Apprentice has opened her sixth pizza store in six weeks.
Anisa Khan pitched her business idea of an Indian and Italian fusion pizza brand to business magnate Sir Alan Sugar on the popular reality game show earlier this year.
Bombay Pizza first launched in 2021 as a pandemic-era dark kitchen in London’s Sutton selling unique pizzas with desi-inspired toppings.
Her appearance on The Apprentice has since catapulted the business, with Khan opening six sites in six weeks starting with Clapham, before following up with launches in Richmond and Fulham on the same day.
Having then opened her first outside the capital last month in Reigate, she arrived in Camden Market and the 2nd floor of Hawley Wharf last Saturday, and hopes to end 2025 with ten sites.
Bombay Pizza’s feature signature items include creations like Chicken Tikka Masala or Lamb Keema with a curry paste base.
