Dave’s Hot Chicken launches in Leicester

US chicken brand Dave’s Hot Chicken has now opened a sizeable site in Leicester.
This latest one is located on the busy pedestrian street of Gallowtree Gate in the heart of the city.
As a double storey restaurant, this is their eighth store, with others in London’s Shaftesbury and Westfield, as well as in Birmingham and Manchester.
Originating from Los Angeles’ East Hollywood, Dave’s was first launched in 2017 by “three childhood friends in their 20’s, who scraped together $900” to open a pop-up stall in a car park.
Thereafter it went international in Dubai and Canada, with the company confirming with FtLion that “all the chicken served at Dave’s Hot Chicken [in the UK] will be Halal”.
