Salaams and hello to you all. I’m back with another review and this time The Deli Hub was the place to go during its grand opening on 30th September.

Located in Oadby, my wife and I decided to pay The Deli Hub a visit, which was only a walk down from us, so happy days!

The Deli Hub offer a great selection ranging from burgers, lunches, meal preps, Halal deli coffee and much more.

We ordered the following items: Double Decker Smash Burger Meal £12.00 • Ruben Revolution Toastie Meal £11.50 • Chilli Con Carne Loaded Fries £8.00 • Masala Chips £4.50 • Bueno Shake (large) £5.70

The food came out in good time and it was time to dig in. I have to say, the portions of the food were more than we expected; great portions.

My wife ordered the Double Decker Burger from which I had three bites of! We both felt it tasted really great. The Angus beef patties were grilled nicely with the perfect amount of seasoning.

The Ruben Revolution Toasties tasted delicious. The pastrami was seasoned well, with a nice salty taste to it. And with the pickles, American mustard, mayo and melted cheese, it’s a toastie I would want to have again and again. This went really well with a side of Rocket Salad, which was nice and fresh.

I love loaded fries; it fills you up nicely. Their Chilli Con Carne Loaded Fries were enjoyable to eat. However, I expected some good heat on my palate from the chilli con carne. Nevertheless, it was great.

Masala Chips £4.50

The Masala Chips were really nice, with a good amount of spice. The chips in general were really tasty though.

We took some of the left overs home, which I warmed up around midday the following day, with the chips still remaining good to eat.

If you are stopping for a car wash or even a fresh cut at the barbers, don’t leave the compound without having a bite at The Deli Hub.

Please note that they are fully Halal (HMC-certified meat supplied to them), are wheelchair acccessible, and accept both card and cash.
