One of the UK’s leading Halal brands, German Doner Kebab (GDK), will be opening its 100th branch in London’s Covent Garden today.
Located on St Martin’s Lane near Seven Dials Market, this 24-cover restaurant will be opening its doors at noon having already marked the occasion with a weekend launch.
The award-winning franchise is known for promoting a healthy doner kebab option that contains lower calories when compared to the traditional ones found elsewhere.
Their Chicken Doner Box Meal is said to contain just 46g of protein, which amounts to just 433 calories in all.
GDK CEO, Imran Sayeed, said: “Opening our 100th UK restaurant is a landmark moment in the German Doner Kebab story but we are not stopping there.
