German Doner Kebab makes Irish debut in Dublin

After opening their 150th worldwide store last month in Somerset, German Doner Kebab (GDK) made its Irish debut yesterday.
The new site has opened in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin but in partnership with franchisee Strava Group who are also franchisees of Costa Coffee.
While Strava are “the master franchise holders for GDK [] in Ireland”, the award-winning doner company is owned by Hero Brands.
GDK is reportedly looking to launch its first restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which follows openings in New York, Houston, and Texas.
Offering a fully Halal menu, GDKÂ is known for its “healthy doner kebab” option that has lower calories in comparison to other traditional doner kebabs.
