The folks behind Ramo Ramen, the UK’s first ramen restaurant to offer an entirely Halal food menu, will be opening a second tomorrow.

Located on Brewer Street in London’s Soho, the award-winning brand will be celebrating the much anticipated launch at noon with 50% off all food for the entire week.

Combining the exciting ingredients of Japan with Filipino flavours, the branch’s new menu will boast a strong seafood influence, as well as dishes like seared Wagyu Bistek Donburi and Filipino fried chicken tsukemen.

Not only did they win the ‘Battle of the Broth’ by Timeout & Deliveroo in 2018 for its Oxtail Kare Kare Ramen, but were also rated 4.5/5 by FtLion in 2019 before their Miso Baked Shrimp Gyozas won #FtLionAwards ‘Best Starter’ in 2020.

Having been founded in 2018, Ramo Ramen is part of a series of brands by Maginhawa Group that include Moi Moi Island, Panadera, Guanabana, Mamasons, and Bintang.

Chef and co-founder Omar Shah said: “Aside from introducing Filipino dessert to London with Mamasons, we are proud to continue to represent Filipino flavours in the London food scene. It’s a great honour and opportunity for us to build something special for the Soho community and open our flagship store here.”
