Legendary Sahara Grill make big Birmingham debut

Requiring little introduction, the iconic Sahara Grill opened their first restaurant outside London last week.

Making their debut in Birmingham, they have launched a sizeable venue, their fourth branch in the UK, in Sparkbrook’s Alfred Street.

While they have another overseas in Dubai, they have three in the east of London – Leyton, Ilford, and Whitechapel – and one on the west side in Hounslow (review and rated 3.5/5).

Considered one of the pioneers of modern Halal grill, the business was founded in 2004, and opened in Ilford shortly thereafter in 2007.

After a rebrand in 2010, the Ilford site was expanded before opening a restaurant in Whitechapel and eventually one in Hounslow.
