The UK’s most successful Halal butcher brand Tariq Halal made its big Scottish debut yesterday.
Opening within Shields Green supermarket in Glasgow, the pair launched in Kinning Park’s Shields Road.
Shields Green says its stocks an “expansive selection of fresh produce, premium meats, and authentic spices sourced from across the continents… all under one roof”.
Tariq Halal posted on social: “A big moment for us and an exciting one for Glasgow. … After years of serving communities across the UK, bringing our butchery to Glasgow feels genuinely special.”
Tariq Halal also celebrated its Founder and Chairman, Tariq Sheikh, being awarded the City of London Corporation Civic Honour Award for his contribution to business, community life, and the country’s economic landscape.
