Wingers launch a large site in Swindon today

Buttermilk fried chicken specialists Wingers have opened a sizeable restaurant in Swindon today.

Located in Great Western Way’s Lydiard Fields, this will be their 28th site in the country.

The family-run fast-food franchise has confirmed with FtLion that “yes, the chicken across all of our stores is Halal”.

Developed by Amran Sunner, his brother Dylan and dad Bill, Wingers’ buttermilk chicken recipe was first introduced in a dark kitchen in Staffordshire’s Lichfield.

The business now has branches across the country including Buzzard, Aldridge, Andover, Rotherham, Trowbridge, Leighton, Birmingham, and more.
