Who else serves Beef Carpaccio with rocket, parmesan, and truffle oil, or a beautiful plate of Cornish Crab with avocado and apple mayonnaise?

But when it comes to what The Steak Restaurant is renowned for, then the crème de la crème wouldn’t so much be their offerings of Wagyu as it would a humongous 1.3kg Tomahawk.

This show-stopping steak isn’t just richly marbled, and thus full of that umami goodness, but brings to the table different grades across its long rib bone such that it easily justifies the accompanying price tag.

With such a high benchmark set for such a huge steak, the others will be a foregone conclusion in terms of their execution, as was the case with this superb rib eye.

This particular cut is considered by many as the all-rounder of steaks in that diners can savour a range of textures, with this being presented beautifully pink on the inside.

Last but not least, and one which sits in between a rib eye and a fillet, is the tender Sirloin which comes as a 225g cut for £23, 350g for £33, and 500g for £44.

This irresistible piece requires being accompanied by the restaurant’s most popular side, the Mac and Cheese, whose piquancy can be enhanced through the addition of truffle-infused cheese.
