Paratha Box brings its Indian food to Slough
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalA restaurant whose brand revolves around the popular Indian subcontinent flatbread called a ‘paratha’ has opened in Slough.
Paratha Box has launched in The Golden Cross on Wexham Road with a fully Halal menu that peculiarly includes a ‘pizza paratha’.
According to their website:Â “Our Paratha Experts are industry leaders, curating an innovative menu that delights every palate.”
A paratha is a flaky, layered flatbread made from flour that is cooked on a flat metal pan in butter, ghee or oil, and can be stuffed with ingredients.
Alongside potato- and minced-filled parathas, paratha rolls, and a version topped like a pizza, they also do rice and noodle boxes, pasta, soup, and paratha topped desserts.
With two locations in Glasgow, one in Bradford, and another in east London, this Slough branch is Paratha Box’s fifth site.
