Global cafe Chocoberry takes London’s West Ealing by storm

It was only a matter of time before international restaurant brand Chocoberry made its mark in the west of London.

And what an arrival it is too with a grand opening that drew food influencers from across the capital to the borough of Ealing.

Located around the corner to West Ealing station and 10 minutes’ from Ealing Broadway underground station, this is Chocoberry’s 18th venue.

While four of their sites are dedicated to desserts only, the rest are bona fide cafés known for serving a far more comprehensive menu.

This particular 55-cover restaurant is beautifully conceived, with all-day breakfasts, brunches, an exceptional range of beverages that include artisanal coffees, and indulgent desserts, all served in a light and airy interior.

Chocoberry has enjoyed phenomenal success since bursting on the scene, with branches not just in other cities across the country, including Leicester where they began in 2018, but also abroad in Dubai and Sharjah.

They are not done yet either, with three sites scheduled for Birmingham, two in London, and a trio of others, as well as in Turkey and Canada, with Milton Keynes being the next, FtLion can reveal.

With their base of operations located in Leicester, they have a production unit where all their desserts are freshly prepared on a regular basis, before being transported to sites across the country.

It is this level of detail that ensures the quality and freshness of their fully Halal menu, while upholding Chocoberry as “a lifestyle brand loved across the country”.

Just take their breakfasts as an example, with the attractively presented Classic English comprising of fried eggs; grilled sausages, mushroom, and tomato; crispy beef bacon; hash browns; baked beans and buttered toast, all for just £11.95.

If you fancy a Desi version though, then it’s the South Asian Breakfast, which revolves around a luxuriously rich and creamy butter chicken curry, complemented by a crispy paratha, masala omelette and beans, and salad.

But its their eclectic menu that really helps Chocoberry stand out from the crowd, with some elaborately unique dishes available from their Dinner Bowls, Steak & Grill, Burger & Pasta, and Delight Bites sections.

For a start, their Firecracker Chicken is a wonderfully flavorous plate, with tender strips of poultry enveloped in a bold and highly addictive sweet, spicy and tangy sauce, which comes with fresh white rice.

The Chicken Steak from the Steak & Grill section continued to showcase the strength of Chocoberry’s all-round game, with the chicken covered in a piquantly herbaceous cheese sauce, and accompanied by chunky chips and fresh seasoned salad.

You’ll be remiss not to try their Chicken Pasta, which combines al dente penne pasta that’s coated in a lusciously creamy white sauce, with a thick and juicy piece of breaded chicken conveniently sliced into mouth-watering segments.

As can be imagined, if Chocoberry’s savoury items are this good, their range of desserts are a foregone conclusion.

Let’s begin with their newly introduced Viral Banana Pudding which, in spite of its simplicity, is full to the brim with banana bread and plenty of airy cream.

Don’t forget the Chocoberry Specials though, with the brands most popular desserts fully customisable from Belgian milk or white chocolate, pistachio chocolate, Nutella, Kinder, and Lotus sauce.

From the freshly-made Waffle Bites to their signature handcrafted donuts they call Chocopuffs, there’s plenty to consider with Round Waffles, Kanafeh, Cookie Dough, French Crepes, Spanish Churros, Milk Cakes, Cheesecakes, Sundaes, and more.

Chocoberry’s beverages don’t pale in comparison either with not just carefully-crafted Mojitos and Iced Lattes, but also organic ceremonial-grade matcha, hot coffees made from locally-roasted beans, as well as Faloodas, Shakes, and Ice-Coolers.

As such, this brand’s formidable reputation is well deserved, with virtually everything under one roof, making their Ealing branch a serious addition to the borough’s food culture.
