Spice Village announces big opening in London Harrow
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalLondon’s Spice Village will be opening a new site later this year in Harrow, with the established restaurant taking over Adore on Station Road.
The new venue on Dominion Parade will bring a fully Halal traditional South Asian menu to the area, with coal grills, charcoal and tandoor ovens used across the kitchen.
Founded by Suleman Raza MBE, the brand began as a small Tooting takeaway in 2004 before expanding into catering and hospitality, and winning awards such as the Tiffin Cup and British Curry Awards.
Among its highlights will be one of the group’s largest vegetarian selections to date, catering for vegetarian diners and families with different dietary requirements.
“We want Harrow residents to see this as their Spice Village, not simply our next branch,” Mr Raza was quoted as saying.
“It should be somewhere people feel proud to bring their families, friends and guests, whether they are joining us for a simple meal or celebrating an important moment.”
