Shah’s Halal Food has added to its fast growing portfolio with an opening in Reading.
The American street food brand launched in Broad Street Mall facing Oxford Road last week with a platter giveaway.
Shah’s announced on Facebook: “A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at our Reading grand opening. Your love and support made the day truly special! This is just the beginning!”
Having begun in the US in 2005, Shah’s Halal Food opened its first brick and mortar restaurant in New York’s Long Island a year later in 2016, and now has 80 branches in the UK.
The brand is known for its platters that includes chicken or lamb over rice or salads, as well as chicken and lamb gyros.
