Afrikana coming soon to Birmingham’s Star City

Peri kitchen and grill Afrikana continues to target shopping centres and leisure complexes with one opening soon in the West Midlands.
The African-inspired brand has announced that it will be opening in Birmingham along with another in London.
Although an actual date has yet to be announced, the restaurant said on Instagram: “Afrikana is coming to Star City Birmingham this summer! Get ready for a flavour takeover with African-inspired dishes, mouthwatering grilled chicken, and unbeatable vibes.”
It has further announced that it will be opening a site in Edgware Road, with a number of others on the way.
Having begun their journey in Aldridge in 2018, the brand is known for its burgers, wraps, chickens and specials, with sharing platters inspired by food from Ethiopia, Botswana, and Kenya.
