Charcoal Grill rebrands to Aysu in London’s QueensburyHALAL STATUS Fully Halal
An established Turkish restaurant in west London has rebranded to Aysu Restaurant following a complete renovation of the place.
This 50-cover restaurant in Queensbury has been through a number of incarnations, having previously been Divan before becoming Charcoal Grill, which we reviewed way back in 2014.
Despite the rebrands, the venue has remained true to its Turkish roots with a menu that revolves heavily around its kebab dishes.
As such, Iskender kebab is a well-known one originating from northwestern Turkey, along with seasoned doner kebab that’s turned and cooked slowly on a vertical rotisserie.
Another kebab to look out for is their Adana which is made with minced meat by being wrapped around a skewer and cooked on wood fire before being served with bulghur pilaf and roasted vegetables
