Chicos replace Leyton’s iconic Proper Burgers in London

Chicos has taken over the same premises that east London’s iconic Proper Burgers occupied before closing last year (credit: Zaman Siddiqi).
Located on 706 Lea Bridge Road in Leyton, the smashed burger also announced both the grand opening date and a giveway to mark the occasion.
Chicos said on Instagram that they are “so proud to be moving into our brand new location that used to be home to the legends @properburgers”.
Having opened their second in Brick Lane earlier in April, this one will be openings its doors next Friday 21 June with free smashed burgers and a new crazy fries item.
With another east London branch on Barking Road, their menu also serves flame grilled chicken, as well as a selection of loaded fries, among other things.
