Despite 800 chain restaurants, bars and coffee shops having closed since the start of the Covid pandemic, Creams Café continues to grow.

As part of its nationwide expansion, the fully Halal dessert brand will be debuting in Wales with its 91st site on Cardiff’s Queen Street.

Scheduled to open this Friday 22 January, the store will initially be offering takeaway and delivery via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats, before opening for dine-in when restrictions ease.

While the 56-cover dessert parlour will be spread across two floors with an additional 18 covers outside, its interior will be inspired by skateboard culture.

The menu will feature all of Creams’ signatures from sundaes made with gelato from the brand’s own factory in East London, to their brand-new doughnut range which will also be available (for delivery only).

Creams successfully maneuvered through a turbulent 2020 following the introduction of a seamless online experience for delivery and Click & Collect, and reported a record-breaking October with sales of over £4M across the board.

The brand is planning on opening five to six stores during the first quarter of 2021.
