A charity cookbook carrying a foreward by HRH The Duchess of Sussex is aiming to sell 50,000 copies to help raise £250,000 in support of a community kitchen.

‘Together: Our Community Cookbook’ has been put together by Hubb Community Kitchen and is being supported by Her Royal Highness and The Royal Foundation.

Published by Penguin Random House companies and available for purchase tomorrow 20th September, the cookbook showcases over 50 recipes created by a group of women whose community was directly affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

Coming together in a communal kitchen at the Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre in West London in the summer of 2017, these women united to cook fresh food for their families and neighbours while celebrating the power of cooking in strengthening community ties.

Shortly thereafter in January this year, The Duchess of Sussex visited the kitchen before deciding to champion the project and help Hubb Community Kitchen continue its selfless efforts.

With recipes from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean, profits generated by sales of ‘Together’ will help keep the kitchen open for up to seven days a week and help the women widen their reach to others in the community.
