Fireaway Pizza has launched its 9th London restaurant today a month after it opened what was said to be the brand’s first fully Halal branch in Ealing west London.

With doors opening earlier today on Ley Street in east London, this Halal branch is celebrating its grand opening by offerinig £5 off all its signature pizzas.

Fireaway’s pizzas are made from “fresh handmade dough” in a 400 degree fire oven in “around 180 seconds” using a recipe introduced by founder Mario Aleppo’s grandmother from the Amalfi Coast of Italy in the 1950’s.

Having opened its first branch back in 2016, this particular one in Ilford is the franchise’s 27th restaurant overall, with one in Scotland too.

Not only does this particular store offer “fresh unlimited toppings”, but they “use top quality products from the UK and Italy”.

The website states: “This might mean slightly higher costs but we know it keeps customers coming back for that unique taste. Our pizzas have minimal grease and fresh vegetables everytime. At Fireaway we have a choice of 4 bases 4 cheeses 4 meats 20 vegetables. This is the future of fast pizza!”

And they aren’t done yet. Fireaway Pizza has plans of opening five more, although it’s uncertain as to whether these will be catering for Halal or not.
