But perhaps the single most important factor that separates this 85-cover eatery from the competition is that this is a fully dry establishment.

Not only does this make them one of the very few alcohol-free Turkish eateries in the capital, but with a sumptuous interior that comes with plush boothed seating, this is an ideal family-friendly venue.

Fresh fish on ice ready to order

Of course Flamin’ Mangal’s long-term success lies in their authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with perhaps the highlight of their menu being freshly-made oven-baked Pidès (the Turkish equivalence of pizzas).

Even more impressive is the lengths to which they go to in serving the freshest food possible, such as their daily delivery of seafood being attractively put on ice in a display counter ready for order.

The Flamin’ Mangal Mixed Grill…

Bringing the freshest Turkish cuisine to Peckham

Their menu quintessentially begins with hot and cold mezzes comprising of traditonal lahmacuns, fresh oven-baked bread all homemade daily, along with a creamy garlic mushroom and prawn starter rated most popular by customers, and the halloumi falafels and sucuk.

With a number of Pidès to choose from, like the sucuklu egg and cheese, there’s the seafood options of salmon, seabass, seabream, and king prawns, as well as a selection of veggie dishes.

Yet, it’s their Grilled Mains and House Specials that really quicken the pulse with the former offering dishes like Lamb Chops, Lamb Ribs, and a Mixed Grill, all served with rice or chips and salad.

As for the latter, then while these range from the incomparable Lamb Shank and classic Iskender to the Mixed Shawarma, there’s also their Flamin’ House Meat Platters that are served on a bed of rice and bulgar, and accompanied by plenty of bread and salad.

They also cater for special occasions with a private luxury dining room (accommodating upto 65 guests) that’s available for hire.

FtLion has teamed up with Flamin’ Mangal to offer readers a massive 40% off the whole menu for an entire month (valid from 12pm-6pm until 12 July 2021).
