Grillzbase in Whitechapel to give 100% profits to charity tomorrow
A takeaway grill will be giving all its profits to a charity tomorrow to help the unfortunate during Ramadan.
‘A meal for a meal’ initiative will see Grillzbase‘s profits go towards the purchase of food packs for the needy people of Bangladesh.
The east London restaurant will be supporting Helping Humanity charity whose “fight is to eradicate the cause of poverty by working closely together with communities”.
With a “focus on emerging countries such as Bangladesh”, the charity is running a campaign to feed a fasting family from as little as £1 a day to help provide a family iftar pack at £30 each.
Grillzbase says that “100% of profits on the day will go towards the purchase of Ramadan food packs for the needy and destitute people of Bangladesh”.
