‘Fully Halal’ Taiwanese Ji The Chicken Shop now in Bristol

A national restaurant brand that specialises in Taiwanese fried chicken has soft opened its ninth branch, this time in Bristol.

While looking to officially open in around 3-weeks time, Ji The Chicken Shop is located in Clifton with limited seating for seven.

Situated on Queens Road, which is a 1-minute’s walk from the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery, the restaurant claims to be “shaking up the fast food fried chicken industry to bring their customers the best fried chicken in the market”.

With all their branches said to be fully Halal, they aim to become “the one and only fried chicken brand using traditional methods from Taiwan in the UK”, with sites across the UK including London’s Chinatown.

“Unlike normal cooking of chicken breast, Ji Chickens lays up the luxuriant flavours with the secret spices and precise control of marinades,” Ji says.

With a buffet bar that offers a variety of seasonings: plum, cheese, lemon, seaweed, curry, cumin paprika, salt & pepperm, garlic, numbing chilli – there’s plenty to choose from.
