This is one of those new openings that definitely needs highlighting!

As one of the more famous vegan sports personalities, Lewis Hamilton is supporting a new plant-based burger restaurant just off Regent Street that launches this coming Monday.

Neat Burger will be serving burgers created by Beyond Meat, a Los Angeles-based company producer of meat substitutes which has thus far received $72m funding and of whom Bill Gates said that he “couldn’t tell the difference” between their ‘meat’ and real chicken.

Located on Princess Street, some of the burgers reported to be on the menu will be their signature The Neat, as well as The Cheese, The Chick’n and The Hot Dog, with all burgers being served with skinny fries, sweet potato fries and tater tots.

As for Lewis, then he’s giving his full backing and is reported to have said: “I’m very passionate about being kinder to our world and also really respect Neat Burger’s commitment to more ethical practices and supporting small businesses, so this is something I’m also really proud to support. But it is also about the product. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I believe we need a healthier high street option that tastes amazing but also offers something exciting to those who want to be meat-free every now and again.”
