Oodles debut in Newcastle with an eye on Scotland next

Indo-Chinese concept Oodles has not only made its north east debut this week but its franchisee has also signed a deal for three more sites.

Having launched in the grade II-listed Chaucer Buildings on Grainger Street in Newcastle, this is the brand’s 37th UK store in total.

Its franchisee Sharaz Rasuli, who is also a franchisee of Subway, will reportedly be opening his next in Scotland, with Newcastle being Oodles northern most restaurant to date.

While the Scottish debut will share a premises on Union Street with Heavenly Desserts, the brand is looking to meet its target of 100 UK sites by 2025.

Oodles’ ‘Pick a Box’ noodle concept is defined by a choice of either 16 noodle boxes or the option of creating your own “perfect box”.
