Phat Buns launch second burger store in Leicester

Smashed-burger specialists Phat Buns have launched their second restaurant on the outskirts of Leicester this week.
With the country currently in lockdown, orders can be placed for delivery through their website or safely collected from the store in Evington on Gamel Road via a walk-through window.
Otherwise the venue will be offering seating for around 20 with “plans to provide an outdoor covered children’s play area along with outdoor covered seating around the side of the store”.
More recently, they launched their limited edition NHS Blue Burger with 20% of all proceeds made from this being donated to the University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) NHS Trust.
Phat Buns is a burger brand which really impressed us last year, so much so in fact that we voted their Phat Angus burger runner-up in our FtLion Awards Best Burger 2019.
While this particular branch had a turnaround time, we were told, of just 18 days, the franchise has already started work on its next store in Birmingham.
We’ve been informed that this third restaurant is scheduled to open in just 6-weeks with more specific details to be announced soon.
