Indo-Persian fine dining Qavali to open tomorrow in Birmingham
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menu • Alcohol servedA stunning new restaurant that’s been inspired by Persian, Turkish, Afghanistan, and Indo-Pak cuisine will be launching tomorrow 3 November.
With knotted Persian rugs, handmade sculptures, stained-glass lighting, and velvet curtains, Qavali will be opening in Birmingham’s Brindleyplace.
Although alcohol is part of the menu, the restaurant located on Brindley Place has confirmed with FtLion: “Yes, all our food is Halal.”
General Manager, Riccardo Orefice, has bean quoted as saying that Qavali “offers a truly high-end dining… experience”, which he believers is “the first of its kind” in the area.
Some of the dishes on the menu include Turkish pizzas called pides, Persian lamb shank, and a Qavali Grand Platter for four comprising of Kandahari lamb ribs, Punjabi chicken tikka and Sajji wings.
The huge 250-cover restaurant also offers 30g of Osetra ‘Qavali caviar’ and firm roe served with fresh bread and chutneys.
