With six spice levels to his secret recipe – Tikka, Mango & Lime, Lemon & Herb, Medium Hot, Hot, Lemon Hot, and Extra Hot – the authentic flavours behind their famous piri piri marinades involve a dozen different key ingredients being added to crushed birds eye chillies.

It is these carefully prepared sauces that are then used to marinade their chicken for a full 24 hours before being steamed and finally finished on the grill to impart their signature smoky edge.

In addition, Rooster Shack also serves Southern Fried chicken that’s battered in their very own original southern spice mix.

With 6oz of hand-pressed beef patties being standard (20oz for those with an appetite!), there’s also a selection of their Famous Burgers and Wraps that includes their signature The Shack.

For those looking for vegan and veggies options, this place has you covered with Shack’s Classic assortment of burgers, wraps and hot dogs, such as the Vegan Mountain Burger, as well as a Paneer Rice Box, among other things.
