Eight years after opening their first in London Euston, renowned Roti King is poised to announce the opening date to their second restaurant “in the next few days”.

This time it’s south of the capital and a location that’s as far apart from their tiny site as they can get: Circus West Village at Battersea Power Station!

Nestled under the Grosvenor Bridge railway arches, this 45-cover venue will be serving pan-Malaysian dishes created and curated by head chef and owner Sugen Gopal.

Roti King told FtLion: “Exclusive dishes will be introduced to Battersea in the near future. It’s the same much loved Pan-Malaysian menu as Roti King, which draws in dishes from across Malaysia.

“As well as plenty of outdoor seating, the location is beautiful, set in Circus West, right by the Thames, on the Battersea Power Station estate.”

Dishes will include their famous Roti Canai, available with four different options of kari including chicken, mutton, dahl and fish, along with stuffed Murtabak which comes in a variety of fillings.
