Shrimps & Co was formally known as Jimmy’s Killer Prawn

Just last week, my wife and I were invited to the fairly new Shrimp & Co – formally known as Jimmy’s Killer Prawns – in Leicester.

The Starter Bites were served and our excitement begun. We loved the starters especially the Calamari Hoops and the Smokey chicken wings.

The wings were nice and saucy with the BBQ glazed sauce; exactly how I prefer them. I also enjoyed the Steamed Mussels in the zesty lemon butter sauce, something I don’t eat very often but would definitely order again. A great start to our meal.

Then comes our Captains Feast and boy did our jaws drop. A mix of 30 perfectly cooked shrimps on a bed of rice, chips and inhouse sauces on the side.

Starter Bites: Butter Bay Mussels, Smokey Chicken Wings.

They tasted absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The best part was putting on the bibs and black gloves provided, peeling those shells off, and digging in.

We also decided to order eight Princes Shrimps covered in a creamy cajun sauce, which was perfect in terms of spice and flavour.

We thoroughly enjoyed them for sure. I love creamy mash, so had to have that as one of my regular sides.

To drain it all down we had the Ocean Mocktails. I had the Raspberry Coconut Dream, which was spectacular and refreshing.

My wife had the Island Mango Delight, which she enjoyed too.

With a prayer room available on the Cascade Side, we wanted to thank both Arisha and Jannat for their service. All in all, an amazing experience.
