Fireaway Pizza launch new convenience store format

Halal pizza brand Fireaway has opened its first site inside a convenience store over in Rickmansworth.
Although usually operating as a franchise, this new outlet is a takeaway counter located within a Welcome store run by Southern Co-op in Moneyhill Parade.
The “UK’s fastest-growing pizza takeaway chain” also joins a Subway concession, which means that this Welcome store houses three separate food brands under one roof.
Having launched in 2016, Fireaway boasts 160 restaurants across the country, 100 of which have opened in the past three years.
Their menu is entirely Halal and offers a choice of four bases, four cheeses, four meats and 20 toppings, all at the same price, with pizzas baked for no more than three minutes in a 400-degree oven.
