Taco Bell opens another Halal London store in Baker StreetHALAL STATUS Fully Halal
International Tex-Mex restaurant brand Taco Bell has launched another store in London that serves a Halal menu.
This particular branch on Baker Street is fully Halal (in this case the beef and the chicken) with no alcohol served on site, the store has informed us.
What’s more, there’s even a pair of self-service ordering kiosks complete with card-based payments, along with a two-way entry (with an automatic hand sanitiser in place) and exit system, in place for takeaways.
For those of you not in the know, Taco Bell has a number of other restaurants dotted across the country that also cater for Halal.
As such, you can enjoy their recently introduced £5 Chalupa Box that’s filled with the Classic Taco Bell flavours of seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes and cheddar cheese, and your choice of sour cream or their new Lava sauce.
Otherwise there’s the Chicken Quesadilla which can be had with grilled chicken, a hefty portion of melted three-cheese blend, with creamy jalapeno sauce.
Then there’s the soft and chewy Crunchwrap Supreme with seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, reduced fat sour cream and a crunchy tostada shell for extra loud chewability.
While we haven’t contacted any of these branches to determine their Halal status directly, their website has 12 of their 60 nationwide venues stamped with the “Halal Meat Available” sign. Here’s the complete list (thanks to @zamanwhu for the heads-up):
