Tooting’s CoffeeMax maxes out!

Located just a few doors down from Tooting broadway station, CoffeeMax is a warm and cosy Italian themed cafe that’s a good spot for breakfast and lunch.

The menu offers a selection of pastas, pizza and paninis, along with a range of desserts, hot and cold drinks.

Having ordered the Lasagne Al Forno (mince), the Sizzler pizza and a portion of small chips, the food took around 25 minutes to come out and wasn’t very hot when it did.

The lasagne lacked flavour and seemed processed as though it had come out a packet before being reheated – it simply didn’t hold its shape.

The service was a little lousy too as the lady serving us was unsure as to what half the items on the menu were.

A decent meal, but not sure it was worth the price we paid as there were many other local places offering much more appetizing options at that price.

And neither am I sure they made a good choice in increasing their menu prices either!
