Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has launched its first restaurant in the city of Swansea.
Located on Oxford Street, this is the American brand’s fourth site in Wales and 37th this year.
With locations also in Cardiff and Newport, all of Popeyes UK branches serve a fully Halal food menu.
Aside from their breakfast menu not being Halal, a representative has told FtLion: “We don’t serve chicken at breakfast, but our chicken served with our daytime menu remains Halal.”
Their website adds: “Sourcing UK Sourced, Red Tractor chicken,” before adding: “Everyone is welcome at our table. All of our chicken is Halal and we have certification from the Halal Monitoring Board.”
