Chaiiwala in Blackburn is brand’s first 24-hour drive thru

The UK’s most successful Indian street food brand Chaiiwala is again leading the way with this new openig in Blackburn.

Located at Grimshaw Retail Park, this is their first 24-hour drive thru café, and a “convenient destination for late-night snacks, early breakfasts and Chaiiwala’s signature Karak chaii”.

This is now their fifth drive thru site with Nottingham and Blackburn being the latest to have opened within the last six months.

Having been founded in 2015, Chaiiwala now has some 115 sites across the UK, with 23 more in Canada and a few in Dubai.

Chaiiwala co-founder, Sohail Ali, reportedly said: “Consumers today aren’t bound to the usual nine to five as seen in previous decades, but are often left with late-night options that are stuffy, few and far between, or out of the way.”
