Eid al-Adha 2025: Places to visit for food and festivities
With Eid al-Adha coinciding with the day of Jumu’ah this year on 6th June next week, there’s plenty to celebrate and be thankful of.
Here’s five restaurants in London and across the country to consider who will be serving some epic Eid menus with plenty of celebratory vibes.
Chai Nashta (London, Upton Lane)
Chai Nashta in east London have a dedicated Eid menu as well as a pair of platters, the latter starting from just £65 and meant for between 6-8 people.
While orders need to be placed by Monday 2 June (collection only on Eid day: 11am – 12pm), with a minimum of 10 people at £10 per head, their Eid menu offers a starter: Fried Chicken Drumsticks tossed in their special house sauce, and a main dish of either Daal Gos Chawal or Lamb Biryani.

My Delhi (Newcastle • Sunderland • Leicester)
Having branches in Newcastle, Sunderland, and Leicester, My Delhi’s chefs have cooked up a family favourite in Shahi Mutton Yakhni Pulao. With slow-cooked mutton, spiced gravy, raita on the side, this will be available only on Eid day.

Royal Mahal (London, Tooting)
Royal Mahal are returning with their annual Chaand Raat which brings families together a day before Eid on Thursday 5 June from 3pm until late.
The day encompasses food, desserts, mehndi, jewellery, toys, face-painting, oud, and plenty more on Upper Tooting Road.

Saffron Kitchen (London, Tooting)
Saffron Kitchen have an Eid menu that will comprise of the following starters: Tandoori Chicken and Chapli Kebab; in addition to a main with Lamb Curry, Naan, and Salad, with extras (drinks sold separately), all for £13 per person. Note that all orders must be placed by Wednesday 4 June for a minimum 10 people.

Saffron Street (London Gants Hill, Leicester)
The owners of Saffron Kitchen are also making available the same Eid menu for £13 per person at their sister-brand Saffron Street.
With branches in both London Gants Hill’s Cranbrook Road, and in Leicester’s London Road, the same conditions apply, which is that all orders must be made by Wednesday 4 June for a group of 10+ persons.
