You still have time to catch the vibrant Laburnum Street Food Fair today located next door to the Turkish Suleymaniya Mosque in East London.

Open to the public, the food festival has been in full swing during the Easter weekend and is offering hungry diners a wide range of Turkish delights.

Located on Kingsland Road, there’s plenty of variety for everyone including doner kebab, shish kebabs, lahmacun, fried chicken, desserts, Turkish coffee and tea, and so much more.

And the prices are extremely reasonable too with doner kebabs available for between £5/6, Turkish pizza lahmacun £2, slices of cakes and other desserts £1/2, ice cream £3, fried chicken with chips £5, and Turkish coffee £1 and Turkish tea for free.

According to organisers, car and cycle parking is available within the area, with the nearest station being a 5-min walk from Hoxton and Haggerston, as well as the 67, 243 and 149 buses dropping you off nearby.

The event is being organised by the beautiful Ottoman-style Suleymaniya Mosque, with the event closing today at 11pm, so plenty of time to head on down and enjoy the busy souk.
