Former teacher launches cafe Malieu in London ActonHALAL STATUS Fully Halal
A French-inspired cafe has opened in west London’s Acton called Malieu (meaning ‘expertise’ in French and pronounced ma-lu).
Located in The Vale, the eat-in restaurant is smartly decorated and offers breakfast and brunch options as well as burgers.
Although a menu is not yet available online, one of the owners, who has “been a teacher for over 10 years”, revealed: “My dream was to open a restaurant in my hometown. Since we’ve opened our doors, it’s been a treat. The customers have been great and the overall experience has been amazing.
“I would definitely recommend chasing your dreams. It takes hard work and dedication. But once you’ve reached your goals,it will all be worth it.”
