A popular food hall that was forced into closure in March 2020 due to Covid will be making a come back this Thursday 10 March in London’s West End.

Market Halls will celebrate the relaunch of its 430 capacity site just off Oxford Street with a soft opening offer of 50% off until from the 10th until Saturday 12th March.

While its Victoria Station site reopened in July 2021, this second one currently has the following Halal options (alcohol will be served therein): Gopal’s Corner, which offers Malaysian Tamil cuisine; and Le Bab, which caters for Halal modern kebabs.

Gopal’s Corner, which currently operates at Market Hall’s Victoria site, is run by Roti King, which has a site in South London’s Circus West Village, but is preparing to open its second this Spring in the regeneration of Battersea Power Station.

Le Bab was reviewed by FtLion in 2018 where it was rated 4/5 before its sister-site Maison Bab was reviewed and rated 3.5/5 a few months later only to achieve a perfect 5/5 in 2020 when it also won #FtLionAwards ‘Best Restaurant’.

Market Halls is also preparing to launch its third food market later this month in the heart of Canary Wharf’s financial district.
