A new street food hub has launched in south east London with a number of exciting Halal outlets.

Having opened in South Lambeth Place, Market Place Vauxhall has seating for 200 with at least three of the dozen traders offering Halal options if not a fully Halal food menu.

With halls in Peckham and Hounslow, this site does however have both an alcohol bar and a DJ booth, with Vauxhall Food & Beer Garden also located next door.

“We believe in a more unique approach to street food, by offering small and local businesses prime opportunities on the high street at a fraction of the cost,” the brand says.

Launched in 2017, Curry On Naanstop is a fully Halal food concept that specialises in Indian Mumbai street food and has sites in Kerb and Epsom.

Their menu includes Small Plates of Vada Pav Mumbai Burger, Tandoori Chicken Pav, and Pani Puri, as well as Chicken 65, Chilli Chicken Monos, and Mono Dumplings available as Chef Specials.

Rudie’s Jerk Shack is an established brand that serves its flavourous Jamaican cuisine across London including Boxpark Shoreditch, Brixton Village, Canary Wharf, and Mercato Metropolitano.

They offer a fully Halal food menu with specialities that include their Yardie Box with curry goat, a side, and a choice of four sauces.

Iranian Chelo, who have locations in Maida Vale, Soho House, and Dandi, will be making their street food debut at Market Place Vauxhall with a variety of traditional and grilled dishes.
