Wraps & Wings – Eastcote, LondonHALAL STATUS Fully Halal
With a seating capacity of around 30, there’s three boothes with high seating for six persons, and perfect for a small family.
The place itself is rustically designed, with a dark brown colour scheme, and large orb-like light shades that give the place character.
Although we visited in the afternoon, we were told that they didn’t have wings in stock! We were offered strips instead and, thus, opted for lemon and herb.
While the chicken was decently cooked, the marination wasn’t as strong as we’d have liked it. Decent without being anything out of the ordinary.
We were expecting a little more from the restaurant’s signature.
Our issue was that the burger just didn’t come together as one, and the main culprit was the underseasoned and overcooked patty.
The rest just wasn’t enough to rescue things.
And the same was true of the BBQ Bacon Burger.
The patty just didn’t have that strength of beefy flavour one looks for in a good burger.
Furthermore, the flavours, which could have potentially compensated and masked the above shortcoming, didn’t have much of an impact either.

Instead, Wraps & Wings presented two burgers that were fairly underwhelming. It just goes to show how important it is to get the single, most fundamental component of a burger correct: the patty.
