Turkish restaurant Barbeku launches in Walsall today

We produce the highest standard of food and everything is freshly made in house to give you the ultimate good experience.

A Turkish restaurant with a head chef who has “trained and worked with celebrity chefs” will be launching in Walsall tomorrow at noon.

Located on Wednesbury Road, Barbeku is a fully Halal eatery that will be using “locally sourced ingredients” to serve up freshly made shawarmas, kebabs, chops, ribs, burgers, wraps and more.

There will also be Turkish Pizza, or Pides as they’re known, which are made from pastry and prepared with their cheese topping.

Barbeku Platters will consist of lamb shish, chicken shish, adana kebab, chicken wings, lamb ribs, lamb chops, lamb and chicken shawarma, hummus, fattoush, and served with rice and mixed salad.

There’s also vegan options too that include hummus, fattoush salad, falafel, baba ghanoush (upon request), Greek salad without the cheese, soup of the day (upon request), cous cous salad (upon request), vegetarian pide, and a falafel wrap or burger.

Having been “trained alongside executive chef of The Savoy Hotel, Gordon Ramsey”, head chef Abbas’ “passion for cooking is unrivalled”.

According to their menu: “He has a love for food at a very young age where he was inspired to cook [sic], at the age of 18 Abbas trained and worked on some of London’s iconic places like Kensington, The Marriott Hotel in Westminster, Greenwich Knightsbridge, Mayfair London Soho and Battersea and many more.”

217 Wednesbury Road, Walsall WS2 9QL.
