Doner & Gyros opens in Bury’s retail park The Rock

Having reported earlier this year that Döner & Gyros is seeking to double its portfolio by the end of this year, the kebab restaurant has launched its fifth site.
Opening in Bury’s premier leisure destination The Rock, this brand is actually owned by the same people who founded dessert brand Kaspas.
Having debuted in 2014, Döner & Gyros’ “mission has been to bring two of the most iconic sandwiches to streets across the world” – doners served in a crispy flat-bread, and Gyros which are cones of meat rotated on a grill that first arrived in Chicago back in 1965.
While its first two sites in Aylesbury and Canary Wharf have closed, Döner & Gyros not only has restaurants in Norbury, Reading, Rugby and Taunton, but also a presence in the UAE, US, India and Canada.
