Inaugural Halal Awards postponed til January

The UK’s leading ethnic promotions and consulting company has “regrettably” postponed its inaugural Halal Awards.

Oceanic Consulting has confirmed that the ceremony, scheduled for this coming Monday 20 November, will now be taking place next year.

Although news is yet to be announced on their social media accounts and website, it has been broken to relevant parties, including the finalists shortlisted for their respective awards, via email.

Feed the Lion, which has been shortlisted for the Halal Blogger of the Year award, was informed a short while ago: “Regrettably due to unfortunate circumstances we are having to reschedule the date of the 1st Official Halal Awards from the 20th of November to the 15th of January 2018 whilst it will still be held within Birmingham.”

While an official reason for the postponement has not yet been given, the company apologised for the inconvenience caused before adding that “this was a decision we did not want to make and especially at such late notice” and would be in contact soon.

Oceanic Consulting has “years of experience promoting campaigns” and is renowned for “holding various world class events throughout the major cities of Scotland and England”.

Among the notable events annually organised by them, there is: The British Muslim Awards, The English Curry Awards, The English Asian Business Awards, and Britain’s Asian Wedding Awards.
