30% off Chi Ni fresh Malay Indo-Chinese in London TootingSPONSORED CONTENT HALAL STATUS Fully Halal (HMC)
All our ingredients are freshly sourced from the finest suppliers in London and we tend to source as local as possible to ensure freshness.
There’s one restaurant in south London’s Tooting area that isn’t just unique for its cuisine, but also for its unparalleled effort.
Chi Ni is a fully Halal, HMC certified, Indo-Chinese and Malaysian restaurant that truly epitomises the meaning of the word ‘freshness’.
Having had years of experience in Dubai’s restaurant sector, owner Gaffoor is committed to the same ethos for his first restaurant here in the UK.
Located on Upper Tooting Road, Chi Ni offers comfortable boothed-seating for 38 guests in a smartly decorated setting with a set of giant-sized knife, fork and spoon hanging on the wall.
And what a wonderfully extensive menu it is too, with practically every item thereon freshly cooked by highly qualified chefs, with decades of experience, all carefully recruited by Gaffoor to meet his vision.
Chi Ni – Fresh cooking, fresh produce, fresh food!
There simply is no other restaurant in Tooting, let alone the road they’re situated on, that offers either Malay or Indo-Chinese cuisine, let alone both.
And how flavourous the dishes are too with over 30 starters, 50 mains, unique desserts you won’t readily find elsewhere, and a dedicated Diabetic Special menu that’s novel.
To get those taste buds primed, Chi Ni’s soothingly rich Hot and Sour Soup might be one option, which comes in either Chicken or Prawn, followed by the quintessential Indo-Chinese staple, Chicken Lollipip, which in this case has a deliciously sticky-cum-smoky outer coating.
The excitement and exploration really begins with Chi Ni’s Indo-Chinese mains and noodles, with their Mix Noodles, which come in four chioces: chicken, prawn, lamb, or beef, and their Kung Pao being particularly popular.
If you’re looking to turn up the heat though, then Chicken Szechuan offers that perfect combination between the smokiness of the wok hei and the heat of the Szechuan peppers.
Looking for more of an Indian twist to a dish? Then it has to be their rich Indian Style Beef Chow Mein which takes the classic Chinese and subtly infuses it with Indian spices to lift it up some notches.
But this is where Chi Ni really stands out from the crowd, with their amazing selection of Malaysian dishes that range from chicken, beef, or lamb rendang, to some of the country’s national dishes, such as the Nasi Goreng and the Mee Goreng.
Be certain to try their desserts too, such as the Malaysian Bubur Cha Cha made from yam, taro and coconut milk; the Kuih Bengka made from cassava, coconut milk and sugar; or the very unique Chinese Darshan, which is made with fried noodles with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
FtLion has teamed up with Chi Ni to offer readers an exclusive 30% off the entire menu, Monday to Thursday all day, and valid until 3rd March 2022.
