Somali Sabiib opening in London Harringay today
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalSomali restaurant Sabiib are launching their second restaurant in London today (credit: Zaman Siddiqui).
Serving “the rich, aromatic flavours of Somali cuisine”, they’ll be opening in Harringay Ladder’s Grand Parade.
With doors opening at 8:30am AM on Green Lanes, they will be bringing “a culinary tradition we hold close to our hearts: soulful, celebratory, and rooted in family”.
The menu offers Small Plates that include Maraq lamb broth soup, and the Somali-style salad Ansalaato; and Mains like Muufo & Maraq.
They also do sourdough flat bread topped with beef or chicken suqaar; and a slow-cooked lamb shoulder called Haniid, with a selection of Somali Sweets such as pancake Malawah.
