An Indian restaurant that now has half-a-dozen sites across the UK, has launched its very first in the county of Lancashire.

Tikka Nation has opened a small eatery in Preston’s Lune Street, with the city’s Mayor, Councillor Yakub Patel, invited to cut the riboon at the grand launch.

With restaurants also in Birmingham, Dorking, St Albans, Watford, and London’s Uxbridge, their menu comprises classic street food staples from that region.

In addition to Curry Bowls that include Dhaba Chicken, Punjabi Choley, and Dal Makhni, they also offer a number of wraps like Lamb Seekh Tikka.

With a selection of chaats such as Bhel Puri, Vada chaat, and Pani Puri, there’s also the Bombay-style burgers called Pao, a number of sides, and a few desserts.
