The Great Chase Brings ‘Creativity’ to Islington

HALAL STATUS FULLY HALAL

The Great Chase in Islington is a new restaurant where “all the food is 100% Halal with no alcohol allowed on the premise”.

It brings diners rustic touches and wood block tables in a look that blends the antique and the modern.

Headchef Radek Nitkowski (formerly of Dean Street Town House and Cambridge Street Kitchen) brings dishes like: Free Range Chicken Breast, Asparagus, Croquettes and Spicy Miso Aioli, or the Mozzarella, heritage tomato, Ogliarola olive oil and pistachio.

The compact menu shows off a strong British core with pan global influences, summing up the essence of multicultural London.

The remarkably complex Japanese Sencha and the fantastic single estate Earl Grey stand out as particularly fine offerings.

Cordial Alchemist and Sommelier William Wragg spins his magic to create some surprisingly punchy alcohol-free concoctions.

The Tayberry Spritz, made with a Tayberry and Rose cordial (courtesy of the Gimlet bar, and made using ingredients from their own garden), Bees Knees Fizz, black pepper and Lavender vinegar mist is a particular favourite for the summer.

The Great Chase is currently running a promotion for the entire month of July of 30% discount on food with an instagram follow and booking online via their website quoting ‘greatchase30’.
